| International Conference on Culture, Communication and Transnational Societies 12th to 13th February 2016 Bangkok, Thailand ‘INCCTS’ is an international and interdisciplinary conference that seeks to understand the roles in which culture, the arts, performance and communication media play in reflecting or shaping this transnational flow. The main themes for the panels are: - The role of the media and the arts in transnational societies - Communication systems related to peace and conflict - Changes in space, place, mapping and boundaries in relation to culture and identity - Performance and cultural expression in indigenous and transnational communities - Culture and diaspora, particularly Indian arts and culture in the ASEAN nations. The papers presented at the conference potentially could form an edited collection or journal issue. Please send proposals of 250 words including a short biography for papers (20 minutes) or presentations and performances (up to 40 minutes) to Dr Jirayudh Sinthuphan (inccts.cu@gmail.com) by 30th October 2015.
