| AVANCA | CINEMA 2021 International Conference Cinema – Art, Technology, Communication Conference Dates: July 28 - August 1, 2021 Conference Place: Avanca, Portugal and Online Abstract Submission Deadline: January 31, 2021 Website: https://avanca.org Every year in July, the AVANCA|CINEMA Conference celebrates its new edition together with the Avanca Film Festival in Portugal. In 2021 the Conference will be held online and in-person. Cinema researchers are invited to participate in the Conference, virtually or in-person in Avanca, where they can find a space for debate and sharing their studies in cinema and related disciplines. Aiming to distinguish the best paper present in the Conference, an international jury will award the selected paper with the "Prize Engr. Fernando Gonçalves Lavrador". Abstract Submission: Deadline to submit an abstract: January 31, 2021 There is no fee for the abstract submissions. The abstract submission must follow these parameters: - Abstracts with a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 250 words in English; - Title in one of the four official languages and in English; - 5 keywords in English. Online form to submit an abstract: http://avanca.org/bd_forms/form_en.php We remind that while the abstracts must be written in English, the Conference has the following four official languages for publication and presentations: Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
