Eighteenth International Conference on New Directions in the Humanities Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Venice, Italy 1-3 July 2020 https://thehumanities.com/veniceconference-2020 CALL FOR PAPERS The Eighteenth International Conference on New Directions in the Humanities will be held at Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Venice, Italy, 1-3 July 2020. We invite proposals for paper presentations, workshops/interactive sessions, posters/exhibits, virtual lightning talks, virtual posters, innovation showcase, or colloquia addressing one of the following themes: Theme 1: Critical Cultural Studies Theme 2: Communications and Linguistics Studies Theme 3: Literary Humanities Theme 4: Civic, Political, and Community Studies Theme 5: Humanities Education CONFERENCE SUBMISSION DEADLINES The next proposal deadline is 1 September 2019. We welcome the submission of presentation proposals at any time of the year up until 30 days before the start of the conference. All proposals will be reviewed within two to four weeks of submission. A COLLECTION OF JOURNALS The New Directions in the Humanities Journal Collection consists of five journals and an annual review. The New Directions in the Humanities Journal Collection encourages the widest range of submissions and aims to foster the highest standards of intellectual excellence. Articles may be submitted by in-person and virtual participants as well as Research Network Members. 2019 International Conference on Education, Psychology, and Social Sciences

Call for Papers 2019 International Conference on Education, Psychology, and Social Sciences (ICEPS) Conference Venue: Tokyo University of Science, Tokyo (Japan) Conference Date: 22-24 August 2019. Dear Colleagues, We, ICEPS conference chair – Dr. Chikako Morimoto (Tokyo University of Technology), local committee chair – Dr. Jianming Shi (Tokyo University of Science), and local secretariat - Dr. Fion Yang (Waseda University), are pleased to announce that the 2019 International Conference on Education, Psychology, and Social Sciences (ICEPS) will take place at Fujimi Building, Kagurazaka Campus, Tokyo University of Science on August 22-24, 2019. Last year at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, the conference received over 350 submissions and slightly over 200 delegates from 31 countries participated. Accordingly, worldwide participants in 2019 are expected to reach 350 persons from over 30 countries. All submissions to the conference will go through an anonymous review process by at least two independent peers. ICEPS 2019 has organized four keynote speeches lectured by: Prof. Akira Fujishima (Former President of Tokyo University of Science, 2010-2018), Prof. Shuichi Fukuda (Keio University), Prof. T.C. Edwin Cheng (Dean of Business School, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University), and Prof. Valentina Naumenko (Florida Institute of Technology). ICEPS provides not only academic platforms, but also opportunities for international and interdisciplinary collaboration. Abstract/Paper Submission Due Date: April 30, 2019. Notably, we will send all conference proceedings to ISI office to be possibly indexed in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI). Please note that ISI office welcomes all submissions but there is no guarantee of inclusion in CPCI. Inclusion in CPCI is selective and competitive, while not all-inclusive. We believe participants can share their viewpoints from different perspectives and be exposed to a cross-domain communicating and learning atmosphere through this interdisciplinary joint conference.
