Welcome to the BSA's 60th annual conference.

They say there's no such thing as an unmissable
event. In a way, they're right. After all, if
you miss a train, you can always catch the next
one. But sometimes it pays to be on time, up to
date, and in the thick of it.

This year is our 60th birthday, so it's a very
special conference. We'll be discussing all
sixty years of our past, as well as looking to
the future. Our keynote speakers will be
showcasing new and innovative ideas that are
shaping the direction of sociology. As an
academic, a researcher or a teacher, you can
help shape this year's discourse. We're still
accepting abstract submissions, so if you think
you've got something to say, get in touch.
